Mont Saint-Michel

When I was a small child, I visited Mont Saint-Michel with my parents. I remember nothing of it, infact the photo is even labeled as St. Michael’s Mount in Cornwall, but the spire is unmistakably of the French castle.

They are. a strange pairing facing each other (loosly) across the channel. Both named for St Michael, both castles on islands.
